MAYNARDS BASSETTS JELLY BABIES 130G

First invented by accident in the 19th century in Lancashire by an Austrian immigrant who was intending to make ‘Jelly Bears’, Maynards Bassetts Jelly Babies are delicious, soft, fruity, jelly sweets famous for their shape- ‘plump babies’. They are sold in a variety of colours and flavours. Bassetts took ownership of them and at the end of the First World War, they were rebranded as ‘Peace Babies’ until the Second World War when production was halted, then they were finally re-introduced as the Jelly Babies we all know and love in 1953. Today, they still appear regularly in tv shows as part of UK popular culture which is a testament to their popularity. Jelly Babies are a big favourite with both our British and Swedish customers.
