The British Shop was founded in late 2019 by two friends that have lived in Sweden for many years; Paul from London and Rosie from Glasgow. After searching for a suitable location for a new British shop in Göteborg, they found a space in the beautiful Antikhallarna building in the centre of the city. Since opening, many Brits (and Swedes!) in the city have visited us and have been delighted with our selection of goodies which with time, we hope will grow. We aim to create a friendly, cosy environment where everyone is made to feel welcome, so come on in for a look around or even just a chat!
